Last night at an award ceremony in Bash! studios in Shoreditch, the Open_Sailing Crew proudly accepted the Sustainable Art Award 2009. Cesar Harada, Hiromi Ozaki, Nasser Moustakim and Ollie Palmer were at the event and received the prize, a trophy made from recycled materials.
They also left with a bottle of organic apple juice, promising not to drink it all at once.
Second prize was won by Fran Crowe, and third by Circus Kinetica. See the Flickr set for more pictures.

The awards, and corresponding Respond! exhibition are an initiative co-founded by the Arts and Ecology centre at The Royal Society of The Arts and BASH Creations. Open_Sailing is displaying a DVD in the exhibition for the next two weeks. www.sustainableartawards.com
