The high-profile climate change talks in Copenhagen at the end of the year don’t focus enough on the world’s oceans, according to the Swiss-based International Union for the Conservation of Nature, who made the announcement for World Ocean Day, Monday. The IUCN is pushing for a worldwide system of protecting the oceans. Reporter Alex Helmick talks to Carl Gustaf Lundin, head of IUCN’s Global Marine Program. He started off by asking if Lundin was disappointed by the agenda from the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change held in Copenhagen.
